What is CWAA?
C.W.A.A. is a non-profit organization that depends on it's members, fundraisers, and donations to provide scholarships to those that are college bound and pursuing a career in aviation and to help those that would like to attend our Aviation Summer Camp, but their funds are restricted.
Currently, there are 49 family memberships. C.W.A.A. members are very important, because they are the back-bone of the organization, without these dedicated members, none of this would be possible. They are a great bunch of people, and are a lot of fun to be with. You do not have to be a pilot or own a plane to be a member, there are many members who have neither, but enjoy aviation and are just as involved in the organization. Of course the members that are pilots, are always willing to share a seat on their planes.
Our Mission Statement
The Camas Washougal Aviation Association, (C.W.A.A.) promotes general aviation in the community, supports the long-term operation and survival of Grove Field, and mentors future pilots through the C.W.A.A. scholarship program.
